Having graduated from Cambridge, I spent about 10 years travelling
and working in various areas before deciding to wave goodbye to
the world of offices and technology and follow my passion –
wood and woodworking.
I worked as an apprentice for a furniture maker
in Fife before moving to traditional boatbuilding, helping to
recreate a classic Bristol Channel pilot cutter – the Mischief
– as well as building traditional Cornish gigs.
More recently I returned to Scotland with my fiancee,
Kat, to open my own woodworking business based just north of Glasgow
in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. |
